• Al Mudaiheem _ fee incomes allocated to be spent for housing and infrastructure projects

              The Minister of Housing adviser and director of the land fee system project, Eng. Mohammed bin Ahmed Mudaiheem, assured that the incomes to the fee allocated to housing and infrastructure projects, which supports the offering in the housing sector, explaining that the taxpayer of the fee is the owner of the land, noting that the imposition of taxes for land and not the legal owners increases the monopolistic business, pointing that the ministry provides assistance to all citizens and answers any questions relating to the system and its implementing regulations.
    Al Mudaiheem, said that the main goal of the white land fee system project is to organize the real estate sector by achieving a balance between offering and demanding and the provision of residential land at affordable prices to be accessible to all segments of society, also the protection of  the fair competition and limiting monopolistic practices.
    This  was during the discussion circle organized by Asharqia Chamber represented  by the Committee on Housing and Urban Development, the evening of Thursday, June 23, 2016 to review and discuss all aspects of the executive regulations of the system of white land issued by the Ministry of Housing fees, amid the presence of  the member of Board of Directors Bandar Al Jabri and head of the Housing Committee Reden Al Duweesh and an astonishing number of specialists and interested businessmen of the eastern region.
    Mudaiheem explained that the program imposes an annual fee for the white land, owned by legal persons increased by 2.5% of the value of the land, pointing that the executive regulations of the program was performed in collaboration with five government ministries and reviewed by the Counsil of Economic Affairs and Development and the Experts Committee, pointing to all the previous workshops work with those concerened and specialized held in varied places in the Kingdom.
    He pointed that the work has been in the program according to a number of tracks, starting with the legal track and preparing it according to the system, passing through the geographic information system, by identifying the white land in each of Riyadh, Mecca, Dammam, Medina and Jeddah, collecting everything related to the land of informations related to the facilities as the electrical coverage and water network, sanitary and telephone.
    Al Mudaiheem continued saying that advisory studies have been performed to analyze the gap and setting up an evaluation mechanism of the factories of accessing services and facilities, as well as studying the consequences of the application, pointing that a cooperation has been made with the Saudi Committee for approved Mudaiheem has presented a visible explanation to the last track, which is of electronic registration, by explaining the registration steps and how to move from one step to another.
    In conclusion Mudaiheem answered the  inquiries of the presence on a number of topics related to the objections and how to present, and the difference between the suspension of the  tax and stopping it, and inquiries about mortgaged lands to banks and who shall pay it, the bank or the owner of the land ?, saying that the objections have specialized committees for each area, and the purpose of the program is to encourage the real estate developers and land owners to work by taking advantage of existing land, confirming that the fees is taken by the contract document owner the original owner of the land. In conclusion the guest  was honored with a memorial shield.
